I had a major error with Amazon this week! When I posted before about the release of Gilded Destiny, you were likely brought to a dead link. The link is now live and in action, and I’d so appreciate if you’d check it out – I put the price down to $.99 to apologize for the delay. Thanks for your patience with me! Also… here are some additional giveaway details!

I’m giving away a $50 iTunes giftcard with the blog tour for Gilded Destiny, so click here to enter! If you subscribe above, you can earn ten additional entries in the giveaway.

Review: Tall, Dark, and Divine. Plus win a Galley Copy of GD!

I am so fortunate to be interviewing Jenna Bennett this week, author of TALL, DARK, AND DIVINE, one of the amazing books revealed this week by Covet, an Entangled imprint!

This book was a really fun read. Jenna’s take on Greek mythology is certainly one-of-a-kind! There was an overall playful tone that I adored, and the way the main character of Eros looks at Annie is the way every woman wants a man to look at her! Jenna also places a much-needed-in-fiction focus on how Eros loves Annie’s appearance, extra fifteen pounds and all, and her use of romance, erotic scenes, and description is… well, divine.

If I wanted one more thing from this story, it would be a little bit more intensity to Annie’s reaction when she finally learns who Eros really is. The way Zeus is integrated into the story was glossed over a little too quickly for my tastes, but I loved his character and the way he spoke, and his beautifully tense marriage with Hera.

All in all, it was a great story that I give 4.5 stars, and will definitely add to my re-read list. I can’t wait to see other books from Jenna, and I highly recommend you pick this one up if you’re looking for a lighthearted romance with modern-day Greek Gods! I think Annie’s character was the most lovable, and I want her to bake me some of those damn cookies. I seriously ate two handfuls of dry Captain Crunch while I was reading it because I had no good desserts in the house.

And I’m SO lucky to get to interview Jenna this Friday! Stay tuned for that… with a sense of humor like hers in the book, I can’t wait to share her answers. :-)

SO….. who wants to win a Galley copy of GILDED DESTINY, my Vesper novella?? I have ten copies up for giveaway on Goodreads! Please click and check it out, it’s a super-easy entry and it’s only going on for a week. Hope to see you on Goodreads!
